Looking for help
If this is the wrong forum for this, I apologize. Please move it to the proper place.
I recently acquired a large lot of jewelery from an abandonded property auction. hidden amongst the box of watched were these two. both are marked Rolex, but I cannot find any info as to age, model ( style) and whatnot. I dont even know if they are true Rolex, or perhaps fakes. There are no number anywhere I can see, and the one marked Cellini does not have the crown. (I understand from some research that not all Rolexes had the crown.) I do know that the original owner was not the type to knowingly purchase fakes, and the other watches in the lot are true and verifiable Bulovas. Can anyone help, maybe tell me how to go about determining if these are true items.? Andy |

Sorry, I don't know anything about them. However that Cellini looks great! I'm sure the experts will chime in shortly.

Welcome to TRF!
Best bet for proof of authenticity is to send it to an RSC (NY would be the nearest to you) for servicing. Not only will you know if it's legit or not, you'll get service papers if they are. Good luck

Sorry but they are both fake. No Rolex(and this includes the quartz ones) have movements made in Japan and Cellini models are real gold not gold-plated..

The Rolex quartz is definitely a fake. The Cellini may also be but it's not a given. Take it to a good jeweler who knows his/her stuff to confirm.
