After reading all these nice stories about Subs and DS.
Now, i want one!! Due to this economy, I really don't have the funds to buy a new one. Therefore, I would like to find a older one or maybe even a beat up one so I can work on it. Anyone have a good suggestion in where there might be a vintage watch shop in Chicago? or maybe a best way to buy a beat up sub or ds??? Thanks for all the inputs.... ![]() |

Well, do you know how to do the work yourself? Most of the time projects end up costing more than buying one which is already in good shape, just previously loved.
Also, what do you think you are trying to spend to see if it is even realistic?
