Milanese Analysis Paralysis!
HELP! I've been researching to death Milanese straps for my SMP300. I tried the OEM standard length and it was super uncomfortable as it bowed at the sides. I've heard that the short version (my wrist is about 6 3/4) is a better fit. However, $840.00 is obscene.
Got good reviews for Northstar and Staib. Not sure I won't run into the same issues with the Northstar, and the Staib has the bars for sizing which I think are pretty ugly. I also like the ability to change size on the fly with the hot weather coming which you can't do. Their version with the oyster/flip lock is just too big a clasp for me. Anything I'm missing? Anyone try the Northstar product? Thanks!

I have been round and round with aftermarket bracelets and have quite a few. Forstner seems to work well and at around $185. But they are not OEM and as such don't work as well. I recently have been placing Tudor 5 Link bracelets with the T-Fit Clasps on several of my Tudor Black Bays. World of difference in fit, wear and appearance. At $995 they are stout price wise but I just pay and go with it. I would go into an AD or Boutique that has the shorter mesh OEM Omega Bracelet. Have them put it on your watch and just see if it works. I would think it would once you acknowledge the difference between a standard bracelet and the mesh, they do wear differently. Get over the price, ask for a discount pay and go on and enjoy it. Good luck and let us know how it plays out.

Morning Adam,
Perhaps I can provide some insight from my current experience. I've been wearing the 007 for a few weeks now and have been struggling with the uncomfortable fit of the mesh strap. My wrist is also 6-3/4" but is flat. Initially, I was left puzzled as to why Omega would construct such an uncomfortable band. |

I applied gentle pressure (a few times) to the 2 positions as you see with red arrow locations. This "widened" it a little, making the shape less oval and more round.
Since then, I've noticed it was fitting more comfortable and does not leave an embedded buckle mark on the skin. Hope this works for you - let me know how. |

Milanese band can be “break” to be more flexible; Google it and you will see what you can do. You could also use a different deployant on the genuine Milanese with adjustability (considering doing this with a Formex adjustable length deployant, which would have to be modified to fit the bracelet)
Formext deployant is shown below: ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The standard Omega mesh does not work on a wrist under 7"... On my scrawny 6.5" wrist it's an absolute nightmare.
Trying to find a SMALL mesh is very easy.. Just call up Omega Parts USA and fork out the $840 for it. The problem is, Omega doesn't accept returns on parts (if they had the small listed on the website, and you purchased online then they would take it back.. but they only have the standard size on the website). The other option is to find a Boutique that will order one for you.. IF (and that's a big if) you find one that will, and you don't like it you can return it. (most AD's won't take returns because its a special order). So.. its a ~$900 gamble if you want to try the smaller Omega Mesh :) I have a small on order from a Boutique in another state (the only one that would order it for me :) )... The look of the Omega Mesh is fantastic, it just wears like crap. |

That Arroway is nice. I've heard good things about them. Thanks!

I bought the king mesh strap from strapify for $100 about a year ago and I’ve been happy with it. I couldn’t commit to the $840 price of the OEM version.

Has anyone had issues with the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 OEM titanium strap?
