Update of the watch I went for

Thanks to everyone for their opinions on whether I should go for an aquanaut 5066a or a Royal Oak 4100BA.

Here is the thread: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=984354

I was actually so surprised at how many in the Patek thread thought the Royal Oak!

Here is an update and review of what I went for!

Gotta say, I am so happy with it. Let me know what you think! And thanks to everyone for their input!!

Great write up OP and you look to have found a beautiful example that you’re rightfully very happy with.

Congrats and wear in the best of health

Great writeup and review! Love this quote from the article:

"Some might argue that this reference is too obscure. But for me, that is part of the charm. I do not need my watch to tell everyone who I am. I just need it to remind me. And the 4100BA reminds me that taste is personal. That the best pieces are often the ones you do not see coming."

I’m really enjoying this as a passion project, and exploring watches through my blog!

I'm not a fan of the Royal Oak or full gold bracelet watches and somehow I still love this watch and it looks fantastic on you. So you certainly have found a gem if it's crossed past two normal objections of mine, congrats!
