1959 Rolex Oyster Royal stops running when turned upside down.

My father had this watch for 20-30 years add he was a huge garage sale attendee. I have it from his passing 5-6 years ago. It is not a perpetual, needs would. I have messed with it on and off for the last 3-4 years and concluding this. If I wind it, set the time and lay it face up flat and leave it alone it will keep perfect time for 3-4 days until the spring exhausts to the point you would expect it to stop. If I wear it, it will fall behind 10 minutes an hour. (I came to fine it was stopping and starting for the final reason forthcoming) I had it appraised and they had the back off. I asked them not to tighten the back complete so I could later look at the miraculous mechanics of it. As a byproduct of this I would turn it face down and instantly notice the movement would stop. If I flipped it back face up while holding it over my head and looking at the movement from underneath I would see it start running as long as I held it face up. It is absolutely repeatable with back on now also that turned upside down it stops. Can anyone advise any action? I took it to the local and only Rolex jeweler. They said $2,000 no refundable deposit to diagnose and suggest repair costs. I said "pass, I will pick it up". See attached video of it happening attached.

Likely a broken pivot on the balance staff. Be careful when de-casing this watch dial and hands contain radium.

Cracked jewel causing friction on pivot when facing down.
