On offer here I have a genuine vintage 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle in classic flat style with 14mm width and quite rare screwed tang bar. I believe this buckle dates to circa 1960s-70s. The only other example of this style of Patek buckle that I could find was mounted on a ref. 3448 Perpetual Calendar. So, quite a rare and desirable bird! Obviously, this uncommon screwed buckle is also suitable for a variety of other classic Patek Phillipe models in yellow gold, such as time-only Calatravas. Certainly a statement in and of itself befitting your special PP timepiece!

This elegant solid gold buckle is quite heavy and is in Excellent overall pre-owned condition, with some signs of wear and age but no major defects. The screw heads are undamaged. The period correct nomenclature & hallmarks on the underside are crisp and easily legible.

I'm asking $1,275 USD for this very special solid 18k gold Patek buckle with rare screwed tang bar. This price includes domestic U.S. shipping. International to be discussed and will be at cost, which is not too cheap these days! ;)

Also, based on some new info from a far more knowledgable PP collector than I, I now believe this buckle style dates to Patek's 150th anniversary "Jubilee" era, so more like late 1980s-early '90s, where it can be found mounted on a few special commemorative models, most notably the Jubilee Officer's ref. 3960 and the rare ref. 3969 Jump Hour.
