Out of bed look

A recent commercial caught my eye (well, recent to me). You can buy a jar of hair product that will give your hair ‘a just out of bed look’ all day. WFT? If I want that, I’ll just not comb my hair. (Well, if my hair was long enough to comb that is).

So let me get this straight. You get up in the morning, with messy hair and take the jar to make it even more messier. And it will stay this all day. So you pay for something that you already have for free. It is like selling a joint to a Dutchman, this is pure marketing genius! Hans Wilsdorf would be green with envy I tell you! Why didn’t I think of that?

Trends today are killing me My wife will go out and spend $100 on a pair of brand new jeans with fade marks and holes in them The messy look is definitely in around here

What the hell ever happened to a nice hawaiian shirt, an A-2 , normal non-holy jeans and combing you hair?

How do you think poor Frans feels? He used to wear shiny gold pants and platform shoes

Be careful, you might scuff your jeans

I actually use those things. Its not for the messy look, but rather a more defined look thats not shiny nor sticky. I use what they call a molding clay.

Jeans wise, I buy anything from Gap to Evisu depending on my mood.

JJ and I share the same hair style. It's free air conditioning, easy to maintain, and growing in popularity.

I'll mess up anybodies hair for $110 per session. And I’ll guarantee it’ll stay that way for a week! (Now where is that can of spray glue?).

Me too Well, I cut all mine off. I let it grow again recently (more out of laziness), but once I had to start combing it I couldn't stand it

Now that Bruce 100% agree afraid now in the UK the younger generation will do what ever the media tells them to do.Just look at some of these ars#hol# so called celebs, get some overpriced think they are gods so called hairdresser to run there fingers though the hair, they dont use combs and brushes any more. And charge them a few hundred pounds for the privilege. Then you have a few hundred thousand all looking the same, thing they look great. But truth be known they look like complete ars#ho#es.Afraid today it seems to me now, the British public have no longer got any interest whats going on in the world. As long as they can watch these crap so called celebrity shows.Watch the Xfactor, see Jordon's T!ts, and dream of a 50 inch plasma TV.

The owner(?) of Solaris uses a lot of product and has that 'look'. But it works on him. It's also refreshing to see such a fashion victim (i.e. totally trendy) in such a conservative profession, yet he likely has more knowledge than most watch shop employees combined.

That is the first time I've seen that guy there - usually it's the other guy we saw first and Helga who we dealt with when I bought the GO.

He certainly does have a look to him and although it's not my style it does work for him as you mentioned.

Agreed... that cat has probably forgotten more about watches than I have ever learned.

I'm with you!
Worn jeans are great, it just means you only have to wash them every few weeks

And as for that messy bed-head look, well.... I am still technically in bed. It's at least another hour until I get up and 'carefully dishevel' myself
