That should have been a red flag BEFORE you bought after looking at all pics of the watch, box and warranty card. If the seller has a good reputation as you say, then they should take back the return no problem. Return it, then buy the watch from a very well known dealer and you will be happy and never have to worry

I asked them when the watch was sold. I’ve done this with another watch at Rolex as well. Also on the older cards that have the AD’s name you can just call and give them the serial. They should be able to verify date of sale.
