36mm vintage wg Day Date Roman w/ aftermarket diamond bezel. I thought I was doing it, until I did research and realized I wasn't. Sold it to fund the walk-in purchase of a 116710LN in 2017 at $7500 out the door, which I still own to this day.

This was my first.

I'm wearing it today and it's still my favorite after fourteen years.

2009, in the middle of the Financial Tsunami. The AD was particularly helpful back then. I went with a colleague, and he wanted the black sub, and I wanted the Kermit. They only have the black sub in stock, and they call another one of their ADs (jeweller group) to bring a Kermit to their store and sell to us with discounts.

Wish I can go back to those days. As I was about 29 back then, the SA was so proud to see two young adults buying their first Rolex, and went to get catalogues and everything for us.

My first Rolex exactly. Granat Bros Jewelry at the Sunvalley Mall in Concord, CA; November of 1984. It was a 29th birthday present to myself.

This was my first. Purchased new in the mid to late 1980’s.
Still wear it and still love it. There’s something special to me
about the 5 digit, lug hole models.

My first Rolex is the Submariner 126610LV. Walked into my AD on Superbowl Sunday 2021 for the first time and was offered this amazing watch. It has been a wonderful journey so far.

Those were the days....

116610LV Hulk. This was in 2016 and I had been waiting for the Batman and was offered this 2-3times and turned it down, It was a Milestone gift to myself and when i finally allowed the SA put it on my wrist, it was love at first wear. so took it.

It won't ever leave my collection. None of my Rolex has left so far.....

My first watch … 1990 DJ36 white Roman jubilee with machined bezel. Bought it from AD in Orlando, FL. Not my pic because the watch is long gone; traded it in on 1981 Porsche 911SC Targa.

In the mid 80s my dad picked up a Submariner, probably a 16800 as best as I can remember but it sparked my interest in Rolex. The whole family were divers so I naturally had to have the best dive watch. In 1990 when I could finally afford to buy one, dad and I headed to the AD and I picked out my first Rolex, 16610 Sub ($1750). It has been with me on every dive I have made over the last 34 years and I still wear it today.
