I had 2 black SubC watches and got bored with them. I turned down the Hulk because it was too green. I would say that this for me would be the best SS SubC option.

What do you think of the LV? Honest opinions please

I highly recommend it. You’ll love it.

the dial is so mesmerizing, changing its colour on different lighting conditions. hulk is certainly one of my favorite daily beater.

Same here Kat.

The "Hulk" is not for me, hype or otherwise, but I do like the 12 series LV

5 digit LV is my favorite of the greens, but the MK2 126610LV is close. Tempting enough that I showed it to my wife, who proceeded to tell me I'd never wear it just like all the bright colored shirts in my closet. She's probably right. 11 series and MK1 12 series were not tempting to me at all.

I love my new LV, the green and black comes together beautifully. Prefer the black dial, and I really love the new new case and bracelet.

Have a 5 digit LV which I love and have actually just fitted a black bezel to it for a change.

12LV is also awesome but I prefer the 11LV on this instance.

For me it’s impossible to find my perfect sub. Modern enough to be wearable, 4/5 digit case, maxi plots on the dial (and hands) makes the 5 digit LV as close as I’m gunna get. Just missing a matte dial and lug holes.

Not a fan of Aluminum in general, and the color is more bright green than evergreen in particular.

True. 12 also has the brighter green. But it is still understated than the bright on the 5 digit

Full disclosure: purchased one a few weeks back and haven't bonded with it yet. Giving it time. Polar ExpII gets most wrist time and BLRO when flying for a commercial airline.
Sold the DSSD JC cause of the dial--just not my thing. Want to be certain of the LV which is growing on me.

I was in the exact same boat if you read my original post. But now I love it.

It's not that easy being green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold-
Or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy being green....

There are 5 different variations of the LV aluminum bezel insert. It’s really just the “B3” variant circa Z-serial / 2005-6 that gets very bright/lime green.

Very interesting indeed! Leave it to Rolex to subtly change over many iterations of celebrating 50yrs. Thank you for sharing!

This is how I’d stack them

I think it’s fantastic, but as a second or third watch. I’d choose a black bezel sub for a solo watch.

I was similar for a long time, I didnt get the hype and much preferred the black bezel subs. However, it has been growing on me, and after seeing it in the flesh(metal?), I might have to change my mind completely
