Regrettably, Rolex is not supplying either in meaningful numbers so the waitlists are brutally long everywhere.

Pick one ? Date function is practical for me .

Timing is everything and the AD got in one of each, the day after my initial visit. While leaning towards the Sub with date, I asked if I could buy both which was answered by a quick "no, I'm sorry." I was at least hoping to try both on before making a decision, but the Sub no date sold. That said, I am super happy to add the 41mm Sub Date to my collection. Very comfortable on the wrist. Now I've got the bug again and already keeping fingers crossed I get another call before year end.
