Ha! Yeah, I gave him care instructions when I gave him the watch and he said he has washed it “somewhat regularly”, lol.
Thankfully no “smell” on it when I handled it yesterday.

A very touching story! And I love seeing battered, scratched and dinged Rolexes, that have been worn hard as they were made to be in Geneva! I hope it never gets polished, but that´s just me (owner of a battered old 5-digit Sub!). Just one thing...is it safe to wash it?
