Was in same position with same watches
Had as well as a white gold sub (another option)
Got rid of the YG sub, YM, and even the Daytona

Now rotate between white gold GMT and sub and my favorite the Platona

So I guess that’s a yes from me

I was in a similar situation. I had a couple YG pieces but they didn't get much wrist time. I ended up selling them and picked up a WG GMT with Meteorite dial. At some point I will probably add back in YG, maybe another DD 36mm, but I am good for now.

WG GMT has no special bling factor. It's identical to all the other Pepsi's.

I would not do trade unless it was for the blue dial. Save 30k and get SS if you want black dial Pepsi.

I'd do the trade just because I like WG more than YG. Also GMT function doesn't hurt.

As others have said, only if the WG BLRO has the blue dial.

Probably yes for this one since its a black dial.

If you had the sunburst blue dial I'd NO WAY trade that. YG is on the come up bigtime and I would say its more popular than WG now.

In a heartbeat. The YG isn’t practical for a daily some might think otherwise just my OP and the YG attracts too much attention.

Not to hijack the thread but…Had to do a double take on the avatar, and then the date of the thread. If my eyes don’t deceive me…welcome back Tom! Nice to see you back!

All day. There aren’t many of the black dial WG gmt’s out there… only did them for a bit before they went to the blue dial… And then they allowed people to change from the black dial to blue dial, which a lot of people did.

My money is on this in the long run to be pretty sought after.

I’ve had a yg LN sub. Was having the same issues you discuss. Now I have the new WG sub 41mm and it doesn’t get any better. Doesn’t matter sub or gmt. WG is superior to all metals beside platinum

OMG Doc the Racer!! I have not seen or heard from you for a very long time. I am so honored that you added to my thread! I really sincerely hope you and your beautiful family are healthy and well. Thanks for the input, funny enough, I did think about you throughout this fun dilemma of mine as I recall your collection. Just to add, I too have the WG sub and I wear that a lot compared to the YG sub. Are you still toying with the P cars on track?

Easy decision for me. Other than a YG Breitling from the 40’s I’ve sold off my YG and RG watches and now have WG.

I agree 100 per cent. It was the last watch I bought and specifically went for the black dial.

I love just how unique it is for the reason you stated.

I also have a YG sub to pair with it
