I give more credence to the guy here who said he'd dreamed it, actually.

While these rumour threads are nothing more than exactly that. If the other ‘rumours’ are true that Rolex are stopping the BLRO because a bezel with red and blue is too difficult to make, what makes you think they’ve cracked making red with black?

Laying down ground work early to establish a nickname for an unreleased watch seems more important than the watch. Rather odd some feel it might be their claim to WIS fame.

1000000000% agree....

Am just funnin' with everyone about the Orange Crush and Deadpool.

Still.... wonder why the below couple never became "Batman and Robin". C'mon, let us ask the easy question of who exactly gets to knickname these new releases, and when do we get to vote for the next one?

I'll be sticking to my coke "classic" 16710. It's guaranteed to be there for me already every morning. not sure how I feel about a new coke. even if I wanted the new one, I;d be on a list for 7-10 years lol. We'll call it the coke or Deadpool "unobtainian" oyster steel.

Patent mentions that orange color.

That's doesn't mean "coke". Rolex doesn't have that IP.

Rolex has patents on many things that never make it to market. People have been saying a Coke bezel has been around the corner since the Pepsi came out. They’ve been wrong many years in a row. Eventually, they may be right and act as if they really knew something beforehand; they didn’t.

Safest bet is a new Milgauss and even that is complete conjecture because absolutely no one knows except Rolex HQ.

And let's not forget the YouTube click baiters who will title their videos:

We KNOW For Sure What's Rolex Is Releasing

New Rolex Releases Leaked

.
.
.

And after the new releases are announced:

Rolex Makes a BIG MISTAKE With New Release(s)

Rolex Swings and Misses

Rolex Drops The Ball In A Major Way

.
.

Or any number of other lame clickbait titles.

An Idea... and solution...

TRF should start a YouTube channel with Steve and mods providing informative facts, guest interviews with Rolex corporate, perhaps a Rolex watchmaker disassembling / assembling a timepiece, Rolex factory tour, etc. TRF's YouTube channel would, in essence, be a solid, reliable, and trusted resource for Rolex information. YouTube could very much use a channel like that, and TRF / Rolex could very much benefit accordingly.

Steve, PADI... mod guys, what you say? It time for an official TRF YouTube channel

The Red/Black really should be called Coke Zero. A real Coke should be Red/White bezel...
