I too just bought my SD on 9-30-10. My first Rolex. I had a choice between the SD and the new Sub (ceramic dial). Well until I put the SD on my wrist and the guy next to me bought the Sub. It was just meant to be.

Would I be correct to say the SD is a now a classic?

How can I tell the the series "M"?

Thanks Tuffstang! If you purchased yours BNIB then it may be a V-Series which followed the M-Series. The watches are identical. If you look at your warranty card, the Serial would be the first letter of the Serial number. Otherwise, you can always pull the bracelet off the six o'clock side and the serial number will be between the lugs.

Thanks! That W Series is a real beauty. I love the T25 dials. I have a Flat-S T25 dial on my 16613 Submariner and think it gives it a very unique appeal.

Hello guys, I'm new to the forum. Charles, that is a truly great looking time piece! Congrats! I have a D 16610 and love it! I only wish had an anti-reflective coating on my cyclops eye. That is the only feature I like on the new Sub C.

Great minds think alike. I also have a Blue TT and a SS Submariner, so we have some similar pieces in our collection. The Sea Dweller is a must have.
