I agree. My favorite gold Daytona. In SS, I prefer the white dial.

I had the same dilemna so I bought a SS Black but swapped out the dial for White. If I ever tire of white, I'll go back to Black and vice versa. So this one's staying around for a LONG while.

I like black in steel
But both the white gold and yellow gold Daytonas are terrific value at this moment
Rolex increased prices when gold was 600 oz. ...and now is double that.
I feel an increase of 30% in the near future will place you into a great advantage
if you buy now a BNIB at about 35% off.

Got the call from a UK dealer that I had come up on his list, when I asked what model he had received from Rolex, and told me it what was white, my first reaction was can the dial be changed as I thought I wanted the black. However once I had seen it in the flesh, have no regrets I got the white, have had it a month now and have no regrets.

I think its far more classy, easier to read and as I have a GMT IIc, a great alternative to my daily wearer! Go with the white!

it was a hard decision between black and white, but voted black in the end. my take was that probably the time can be read clearer against the black than the white. i hope the decision is easier to make when i do finally get down to buying one.

If it were ss I like the black, but if money was no object I'd take a YG on brown leather.
