So I made it to the AD today and tried on both YG DDII and the new Explorer II. I can say without a doubt that I'm definitely not a gold guy whatsoever. Even had my wife with me and it was unanimous. I took it off faster than I put it on.

The new Explorer II was like heaven. Fit, look, style everything. I even tried on the AP ROO just to compare and both my wife and I agreed that the Exp II was for me, and it's cheaper.

Thanks to everyone for their input, I really appreciate it. Maybe I'll visit all gold in another ten years or so.

I forgot to mention that the AD price was 8200 CDN plus 13% tax. Ouch. Thank goodness for TRF.

Can't decide? Simple buy both. You only turn 40 once. And if you're even considering a YG DD2 clearly money is not an issue.
