Interesting feedback and more evenly balanced than I expected! Keep the comments coming. No offence will be taken!

If it's a special piece (black tie affairs) I could see the appeal. However, if the wife wants to wear it that could be trouble.

the first thing that comes to mind when I see a watch of this caliber with diamonds is if i ever need to flip it, its gonna be a task. But then again if you are buying this , it might not even a concern at all.

But that aside i think its an awesome watch, maybe a lil to much over the top but still amazing

Certainly is special. I think you'll enjoy this one.

Love the dial and remember reading an article on another website when it was first released about the multiple layers. Very nice.

My only criticism would be why not have a black background on the leap year indicator like the day month? I guess it could balance the day night indicator a bit not sure. Splitting hairs here for sure.

Nice Rog! I will wait for the 5270P to come out with the same black dial with no diamonds. But I wouldn't mind wearing it!

I love this reference. Nice pics. The diamonds are lovely here. I even prefer it to 5971p.

For me, this 5271p is a matter of how much you pay for it given its price fluctuation in the market. One person I know paid 220k USD when it first came out. And a friend of mine recently acquired for 168k last month. Both are purchased directly from the AD.

Fingers crossed they release it next year sans diamonds! Looks great I just couldn't pull it off...would love one without the diamonds though.

Is it legible?? I can read the time so well on my 5270r but the blue one I couldn't read.

It's a great watch but as you yourself acknowledged- not for everyone. I'm in the sans diamond camp.absolutely love your other 3 incomings though.

Legibility of the light dials is definitely better but the 5271p is better than the 5970p in this regard.
