That wouldn't happen if you were wearing a Rolex. This reminds me of the old Rolls Royce ads which said, "At 60 miles per hour, the only thing you hear is the ticking of the clock." That's probably because they were using one of those loud Panerais banging away on the dashboard. If they had installed a Rolex, you wouldn't have even heard the clock.

Yeah, but you couldn't pick a Rolls then Ed. You would have to pick a "common" brand car for a "common" type watch.
